A formal application to NJCU is not required for those who wish to be a visiting student during the fall, spring, or summer semesters. Simply present the following items to the Registrar’s Office (Hepburn Hall, Room 214) to be considered for our visiting student program:
After you have received your grades as a visiting student, please request an official transcript be sent to the university of your choice and designate the department and/or person who should receive it. As a one-time transcript fee of $25 is charged to all incoming students, there is no additional fee for regular service. However, a $10 fee is charged for same day, “one-hour” service.
A visiting student cannot receive financial aid from NJCU. Visiting students should confer with their school’s financial aid office to determine if their college or university can enter into a Consortium Agreement with NJCU for purposes of your enrollment. All requests for these agreements must be reviewed and processed by the financial aid offices at both institutions. Supporting statements indicating that these courses will be credited toward your degree requirements must also be submitted by NJCU.
