NJCU Faculty are featured as part of the Tony Awards band

There were some big names at the Tony Awards in 2019: James Corden. Tina Fey. Samuel L. Jackson... and NJCU professors David Noland and Mark Thrasher. They were featured in the The Tony Awards Band. Noland and Thrasher serve on the Graduate Multiple Woodwind Faculty in our Music, Dance and Theatre Department. They are among the many faculty members and students in that department who perform professionally on New York City stages.

 

 

Developing Citizen Scientists

Biology Professor Allison Fitzgerald and her undergraduate students are conducting research that is bringing attention to the disturbing presence of plastics in waterways throughout New York City and northern New Jersey. The work has been featured on Fox 5 and the students have also presented at scholarly conferences.

Former JPMorgan Wall Street executive John Donnellan shares his expertise with NJCU students as Associate Professor and Chair of the Management Department at the NJCU School of Business. He is an internationally known, award-winning scholar who is also a two-time Fulbright Fellow
