Coffee Talks

Coffee Talks

Are you interested in learning more about our graduate business programs at our campus in Jersey City, or our new location in Monmouth County? Get all of your questions answered by meeting with an NJCU admissions representative or faculty member over a cup of coffee at a local coffee shop near you! 25-30 minute sessions allow you to discuss your concerns directly and leave with the answers you need to move forward on your educational goals. All attendees will receive a special application fee waiver!

30-minute appointments are available at each location between the hours of 5pm-7:30pm

Register below for your preferred location and time:

Wednesday, November 7th - Hoboken Starbucks, 314 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030

Are the appointments one-on-one?
Yes, we want to tailor the meeting just for you!

What can I expect from this meeting?
This is a convenient, informal way for you to chat with us to learn a little more about NJCU, our graduate business programs, locations, admissions process, etc. We'll help guide you on next steps to starting a graduate degree program as early as next semester!

Can I show up at the location without registering for an appointment?
No, if there is not a scheduled appointment, an NJCU representative may not be there.

When I show up for my scheduled appointment, how do I find the NJCU representative?
Upon registering, we will communicate with you to confirm the time and location, as well as the person you will be meeting with. Plus, we will have some NJCU signage on our table to help you find us!

Does NJCU pay for our coffee?
Yes, we are happy to purchase a coffee or tea for the potential applicant in attendance.

I already registered for a session, but something came up and I have to cancel or change my appointment. What should I do?
We understand that last minute things come up. We just ask that you email us as soon as possible to let us know:

All of the appointment times for my preferred date are taken. Can I come by anyway?
Please contact us at if all available appointments are already taken and we will do our best to accommodate you either before or after our other scheduled appointments.

None of the times/dates work for me, can I still talk to an admissions rep?
Yes, you can contact the Office of Graduate Admissions at (201) 200-3409 or to schedule an appointment to speak with someone in-person or over the phone. We will also continue to add in-person and online information sessions to our event calendar over the coming weeks, so check back frequently.
