Applying to NJCU at Brookdale

There are two ways to become a student at NJCU at Brookdale Community College. Please review the information below to determine which pathway is right for you:

PATHWAY 1 – Brookdale Community College Students

Our partnership with Brookdale Community College allows you to complete your Associate’s Degree, then seamlessly transfer to NJCU to complete your Bachelor’s Degree at NJCU@ Fort Monmouth, just ten minutes from BCC's main campus at Lincroft.  As long as you are not in your last semester at BCC, you can take full advantage of our Dual Admissions Program.*

Benefits of Dual Admission include:

  • Simple application process
  • Seamless transfer of credits
  • Early academic advisement from NJCU faculty
  • Resources of two institutions available to you

How to Apply to the Dual Admissions Program:

*If you are in your last semester at BCC, or you have already graduated, please see Pathway 2 below to apply.

**Students interested in the RN to BSN Nursing program at NJCU must be enrolled in the Nursing program at Brookdale before applying to the Dual Admissions Program.

PATHWAY 2 — Students Who Have Completed an Associate's Degree or Higher

If you have already completed an associate's degree or higher, or will complete your degree this semester, you can simply submit the NJCU Online Application now to get started on your courses at NJCU at BCC next semester!

How to Apply to NJCU:

  • Submit the NJCU Online Application*
  • Select Wall as your desired location on the application
  • Send official transcripts (from all institutions attended)
  • Submit a personal essay (200-250 words)

*Students interested in the Accelerated BSN Nursing Program at NJCU should visit njcu.edu/nursing/bsn to apply.

*Students applying to graduate programs should review application requirements for your specific program of interest.
