Message From the Dean

Welcome to the New Jersey City University School of Business!

Thank you for your interest in our School. Our selection of both undergraduate and graduate programs offers a learning experience taught by academic leaders and industry experts across a wide variety of fields in state-of-the-art classrooms. With a focus on academic excellence and student success, the School of Business holds accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and we are in the process of pursuing the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation.

Located in the heart of Jersey City’s financial district, the School of Business campus is like no other. We not only serve a diverse population of students, but the faculty and staff on our campus come from many different backgrounds as well. In addition to the School of Business being accessible by the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail, our HyFlex classrooms make learning convenient for our students, with the ability to attend in-person or virtually. For those new to our school, or interested in joining, Coffee Talks are regularly scheduled with NJCU Admissions representatives and faculty members.

At the School of Business, our students are guided to success through a variety of hands-on experiences that will assist with advancing their education and career development. Our University Advisement Center welcomes our students and offers a wealth of resources to grow. Our Career Service Center equips our students with skills to prepare for industry experience. Our student activities enrich a meaningful learning journey. For example, the American Production and Inventory Control Society Student Club provides esteemed guest speakers for a variety of Supply Chain topics. These special events are regularly held in our beautiful Skyline Room, which provides a stunning view of the Manhattan skyline.
