Repairs to the Science Building are now complete, and that facility will reopen on Tuesday, January 17, in time for the first day of the Spring 2023 semester. However, repairs to the Visual Arts Building are still ongoing and the VAB will remain closed for the first two weeks of the spring semester. Unfortunately, this will necessitate the movement of some courses to Grossnickle Hall or moved to remote status. If you are scheduled for a class in the VAB during the period of January 17-27, please check with your instructor whether it will occur in person or via remote modality.
The Master of Arts in Mathematics Education is designed to increase the effectiveness of teachers of mathematics at all levels of the K-12 educational program by deepening their knowledge of mathematics and some mathematics related fields while providing opportunities for obtaining information about the latest developments and programs in the field. This program also provides strong preparation in pure mathematics and computer related topics. The use of technology, computers and calculators, is stressed when appropriate. All courses in this program are offered in the Hyflex modality, so that courses can be taken in-person or remotely.
