Get outside the classroom and give your education a global perspective!

Studying abroad is an exciting, life-changing experience that will contribute to your personal, academic, and professional growth. Our short-term programs are created and led by NJCU faculty, and organized through the Office of Study Abroad. These programs offer real world settings for practicing your language and intercultural skills under the guidance of our faculty and local educators. Previous programs have included visits to Perú, Mexico, Spain, and Morocco.

Faculty-led trips are typically between 8 and 14-day long. Tours, lectures, readings, and fieldwork are integrated into each program to fully enrich your experience. Because these short-term programs are tied to academic coursework, you must be enrolled for the class associated with them, unless otherwise authorized by the department.

Current short-term programs are listed here.
