The Master of Arts in Music Education offers coursework that develops discipline and knowledge in music theory. The Master of Arts in Music Education is designed for advanced study in music and music education for teachers of music in public and private schools K-12. The program offers preparation leading to: certification as a music supervisor and administrator; teaching at the university level; and entry into a doctoral program in music education. The culminating activity is a Master’s level thesis.
