International Film Festival
Come explore the world and learn about other cultures by watching some of their most original, moving, and thought-provoking films!
Our department is responsive to the challenges faced by the world today, including globalization, racism, inequality, war, migration, and climate change. We highlight these social and cultural issues by holding our annual International Film Festival, an event that unites students, professors, movie directors, and public libraries under the common goals of appreciating the uniqueness of other cultures and reflecting on emerging and ongoing global matters.
Some of our previous topics have included “Crossing Borders” and “Cosmopolitan Cities”. We are proud to host this event, to which everybody is welcome to attend.
