Worcester University, United Kingdom​

Worcester is a beautiful riverside city in the center of the UK. It is a great city for student life. It has a vibrant and varied nightlife, numerous leisure facilities, superb heritage attractions, beautiful parks and great places to eat and drink. And, with the University located so close to everything, it’s easy to get around and take it all in. There really is something for everyone. Worcester is a friendly and safe City situated in a central location, ideal and convenient for exploring many other parts of the UK. It is just 45 minutes from Birmingham and its international airport, and 2½ hours from London. Information is available at

Students coming for one semester only are automatically allocated a room on campus and do not need to make a separate application.  Exchange students are usually housed in Standard Plus on the St John’s campus.   

Arrival:  Birmingham International is the nearest airport. Worcester University will arrange airport pickups at the beginning of each semester.

Visa Information:  US citizens intending to study in the UK for a maximum of 6 months, who do not wish to work during their stay, can enter the UK as a student visitor without a visa.

The University of Jaen, located near Granada, Sevilla, and Cordoba, is ideally situated to explore the south of Spain. The University offers students programs in many areas with courses taught in English. Students who are fluent in Spanish can take any of the University's offerings. Our partner school Sejong University offers NJCU students the opportunity to study in Seoul, the vibrant capital of South Korea. Sejong University provides a housing scholarship; housing fees are waived for NJCU students! Sejong University website:

Note: before starting the application, have the following electronic copies available. You will have to upload them as part of the application:​

  • A passport-type photo

  • A scan or photo of your passport ID page

  • A copy of your transcript (ask the NJCU International Office)

  • A PDF of a Word document that says "NJCU provides travel insurance to all outbound students prior to departure" (You must upload something to complete the application)​

 By arrangement with Sejong University, NJCU students can take classes in Sejong's Graduate Program in Asian Studies. These courses are taught in English:

Momayama Gakuin University, Japan  

At Momoyama Gakuin University, make new friends, broaden your mind, and enrich your world. Osaka, Japan's third largest city, is  a short train ride from renowned World Heritage Sites like Kyoto and Nara. It is an exciting city where visitors can enjoy the mix of traditional and popular cultures, and have both their senses and their intellect stimulated by the wide variety of things on offer.

Academic Calendar:

  • Fall Semester: Late September to early February

  • Deadline for Fall applications is March 15th.

  • Arrival for Fall Semester: Mid September

  • Spring Semester: Early April to Mid July

  • Deadline for Spring applications is on October 1st.  

  • Arrival for Spring semester: Mid to late March  

Additional Fee: MGU has implemented a 50,000 yen fee [approx $670] for incoming exchange students. This fee covers airport pickup, bed linens, and trips and activities. MGU staff will meet incoming students at Kansai International Airport if the students arrive during the designated period.

MGU Housing Information:  More information about housing location, cost, and pictures is available HERE.  The approximate cost of housing is $3500/ semester.

Japan Visa Information:
Foreigners who wish to study in Japan for more than three months need to get a student visa at a Japanese embassy or consulate outside of Japan.

Sponsorship from an educational institution in Japan and proof of sufficient funds to cover all expenses during your stay are required to qualify for a student visa. Residence permission is granted in periods of six months, one year or two years and can be extended.

Students are not allowed to engage in any paid activities, unless they get permission from their school and the immigration office. Even then, students may work only a set maximum number of hours per week.

IPAG, France



IPAG Nice, located in the south of France, is the second most visited place in France after Paris. Nice is the Mediterranean's largest resort as well the fifth largest city in France. Students will enjoy Nice’s many museums, excellent beaches, fine cuisines, and the festive street life. The IPAG campus is positioned in the center of the city and within walking distance to conveniences such as shops, restaurants, libraries, transport connections.  ​

IPAG, Paris  

With its iconic landmarks and monuments such as Notre Dame de Paris, the Eiffel Tower, La Défense (Grand Arch), the Louvre museum and numerous parks, it is no wonder Paris is the most visited city in the world. IPAG Paris is located in the district of Saint Germain des Près, surrounded by numerous restaurants, universities, grandes écoles, and famous libraries, making it an ideal place to study. Note: Students wishing to study in Paris must have a high-intermediate level of French

University of the West Indies, Trinidad

Established in 1948, UWI is the largest higher education provider in the English-speaking Caribbean. The St Augustine campus in Trinidad is located about 10 miles from the island's capital, Port-of-Spain.

Changwon National University, South Korea

Changwon National University(CWNU) is a public university located in Changwon, near Busan in southeastern South Korea.  NJCU students Korean language courses and a variety of content area courses taught in English.

CWNU is offering free housing to NJCU students. In addition to semester exchange, NJCU students can also participate in a summer program of Korean language and culture, with an internship and field trips. Free housing and meals will be provided by CWNU.

Kibi International University, Japan

Kibi international University is located in Okayama City in the heart of rural west Japan, less than one hour by bullet train from Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Osaka. Okayama City is home to thousands of students from all over Japan so there is a vibrant student life. Its central location in the archipelago provides convenient access to two of Japan's four main Islands. During their free time, students can make day or weekend trips to Kyoto, Nara, Kobe and Osaka, or they can hop on a ferry to explore the islands of the Inland Sea, or further afield to Kyushu Island or take a train across the straits to nearby Shikoku Island. The University engages with the local community, and students can experience the Japanese farming year on day-trips and excursions for rice planting and harvesting in cycle with the seasons.

In the first stage of the NJCU- Abertay exchange program, NJCU students can select courses from Abertay's School of Social and Health Sciences . Courses from other areas are available with special permission. As the exchange partnership expands in the near future, students will have access to a wider range of classes.​

Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Finland

Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is a vibrant seaside city of beautiful islands and great green parks. It's an exciting city to visit, yet surprisingly affordable; there are many discounts available to students. Helsinki Metropolia University is one of the most international universities in Finland. 900 international degree students, who represent more than 90 different nationalities, study at Metropolia every year. In addition to the international degree students, Metropolia welcomes over 400 exchange students from partner institutions of higher education from all over the world every year.

University of New York in Prague, Czech Republic

Study Business programs at the University of New York in Prague . UNYP was established in1998 in cooperation with the State University of New York. UNYP is the most prominent English-language higher education institution in the Czech Republic, with more than 800 students from over 60 countries forming a lively educational community with an international group of instructors.

Montpellier Business School, France

Montpellier Business School (MBS), located in the south of France, has a partnership with NJCU that allows students to spend a semester or a year on exchange, or complete a  Bachelors or Maters degree in our dual degree programs. All courses are taught in English. 

Tuition is waived for both exchange and degree-seeking students. You are only responsible for living costs, which are estimated at about $1000/ month.
