Sign up for your Orientation and become part of the Gothic Knight family. Be prepared for a fun and informative event tailored for you as you begin your journey at NJCU. Pick up your Gothic ID at Campus Card Services in Hepburn Hall, room 114. It's your key to accessing all your student resources and more. Your confirmation is key to reserving your place here at NJCU. To reserve your place at NJCU, simply submit your New Student Deposit payment online at gothicnet.njcu.edu or complete the acceptance reply card found in your admissions packet.

Your Key to Staying Connected at NJCU

Upon receipt of your Acceptance Reply Card, we will send you directions for activating your GothicNet account. Check your NJCU.edu email account regularly and use the GothicNetportal ( gothicnet.njcu.edu ) to receive important information about financial aid, student billing, and registration for classes. Living & Learning

Financing Your Education

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. Apply now and maximize the grant and scholarship options available to you. Request Your Final Transcripts

Health & Wellness

Request your immunization records from your school or doctor as soon as possible to allow time for processing. New Jersey State Law requires all students born after 1956 to submit proof of immunity to Measles (2 doses), Mumps, and Rubella or file a valid exception. For more information on requirements and how to submit your records, visit njcu.edu/immunization or call the Health and Wellness Center at 201-200-3456.

Schedule Placement Test & Meet Your Advisor

Schedule your placement test by calling 201-200-3305 or by completing the online form at njcu.edu/testingcenter. Upon completion of the test, an appointment will be scheduled with your academic advisor to register for classes. Once your transfer credits have been reviewed, an evaluation and information on course registration will be emailed to you. Be sure to review your transfer credit evaluation and contact the University Advisement Center at 201-200-3300 with any questions.
