    Logistics Center at NJCU Open House for FREE TLD Training Program

    New Jersey City University is sponsoring a free four-week training program in warehouse operations for men and women. Funded in part by JP Morgan&Chase,

    the program provides training in the TLD (Transportation, Logistics and Distribution) industry, one of New Jersey’s largest sectors of growth and employment. Graduates of the program receive certifications in Forklift Operation, Fundamentals of Logistics/Warehousing and Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA).

    Join us for an Open House on Tuesday, May 29 at 11:00 a.m. at the Logistics Center at NJCU (285 West Side Avenue, Jersey City, NJ) to learn more about

    32nd Annual Salute to Graduates of African Heritage

    This is Us: The Powerful Intersections of Success and Service

    Our Salute to Graduates ceremony is an opportunity for our students of African Heritage to be celebrated for their achievement in higher education with Baccalaureate, Master’s as well as Doctoral degrees. The ceremony which is a special event for students who plan to graduate in May or Summer 2018, includes a gift; a reception with family, friends and members of the University community; a procession of the graduates, a keynote speaker, and the distribution of certificates to graduates.

    This year's keynote speaker is Sharon Chambers-Smith, retired educator and Passaic Community College Board of Trustee. Mrs. Chambers-Smith recently had an appearance in one of the episodes of "Rapture", the new Netflix hip-hop documentary series.

    Coffee with the Deans for CAS Faculty

    Coffee with the Deans. Thursday, April 26th, 3:30-4:30pm.

    Join Dean Sedycias, Interim Associate Dean Mittman, and Interim Associate Dean White for a hot beverage on the second floor of GSUB, at the tables near the cafeteria cashiers. Any CAS faculty member is welcome to join us for coffee, tea, and good conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. We will have a chance to discuss matters of our common interest in a less formal ambience. Faculty can stay as little or as much as they want, and the deans will be open to discuss any topic germane to the faculty’s department. Location: GSUB, 2nd floor, near the cafeteria cashiers.
