    Visiting Artist Talk: Barbara Hammer

    Barbara Hammer is a visual artist working primarily in film and video. A pioneer of queer cinema, she has made over 80 moving image works in a career that spans 40 years. She is recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2013 and retrospectives of her work have been held at the Museum of Modern Art, The Tate Modern in London, and the Jeu de Paume in Paris. Her work is represented by the gallery Koch Oberhuber Woolfe in Berlin, Germany.
