Setting Yourself Up For Success: Learn How to Use Mindfulness Techniques to Help You Succeed This Semester

Maranice Strickland is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Texas. Her specializations include Domestic Violence, PTSD, and Substance Use Disorders. She graduated from NJCU with a B.A. in Psychology in 2011 and a M.A. in Educational Psychology in 2014. During her time at NJCU, she was President of the Psychology Society, a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society, and a TLC student member. Mrs. Strickland works as a Counselor for the Houston Police Department, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Mrs. Strickland is also the founder and owner of SolTherapy, an online private practice that serves individuals with mental health concerns. In her spare time Mrs. Strickland enjoys participating in Camp Gladiator, reading science fiction, and watching comedy series. Instagram: @maranicestrickland
