Commencement for Students
Students:
The 2022 NJCU Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Prudential Center on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
Please be advised that due to an event conflict with the Prudential Center, the start times of both ceremonies have changed. The first ceremony, originally scheduled for 9 a.m., will now begin at 11 a.m. Meanwhile, the second ceremony, originally slated for 1 p.m., will now begin at 3 p.m.
Please note the revised schedule, including seating times:
- 11 a.m. Ceremony: School of Business and College of Professional Studies (doors open at 10 a.m. for all graduates, and all must be seated by 10:40 a.m.)
- 3 p.m. Ceremony: Deborah Cannon Partridge Wolfe College of Education and the William J. Maxwell College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) and CAS/Education dual-degree recipients (doors open at 2 p.m. for all graduates, and all must be seated by 2:40 p.m.)

NJCU DOES NOT REQUIRE TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT AND ALL GUESTS ARE WELCOME.

Students: Enter through the Investor's Bank Tower
Guests: Enter through the Ford Tower
Please note: Traffic is normally heavy during the morning rush hour on roads leading to the Prudential Center. Plan accordingly. Please visit the Prudential Center website for directions.
Graduation Cap Decoration Contest
This year, when you decorate your graduation cap, consider submitting it for our contest! We'll be announcing our winners on social media.
Winners will receive:
- Professional headshot for LinkedIn
- NJCU t-shirt or sweatshirt
- NJCU diploma frame
Just complete our form to submit photos of your decorated cap and your personal details no later than June 5, 2022. We will announce winners starting the week of June 6.
