The Enterprise Systems Services group manages the technical infrastructure of the university. This includes, the campus network and data infrastructure, all telephones and the voice services hardware, enterprise network hardware, and the computer and file servers that run the enterprise applications and store the enterprise data, including email and listserve. The group consists of three units:
Voice/Data Networks Unit
The members of this unit are responsible for managing the voice/data infrastructure and hardware throughout the university campuses. This includes management of servers, backup of server data, management of routers, switches, wireless access points, network security, and management of voicemail and telephone hardware (PBX and phones).
Systems Administration Unit
This unit provides management of software and database support for the various information systems including PeopleSoft, Campus Card, Parking, Exchange email, and legacy systems.
Web & Multimedia Unit
This unit manages the university web content management system (CMS) and ancillary web applications, The unit provides training and support to staff from all departments responsible for the development of web pages, including the application of multimedia.
