PLTL Workshop Rules of Etiquette

  1. Each student is required to sign in upon arriving to each workshop.
  2. Each student is required to bring his/her textbook, notes, pencil, and calculator to each workshop.
  3. Each student is expected to arrive to each workshop on time.
  4. Each student is expected to stay for the duration of the workshop.
  5. If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late to the workshop, he/she will not receive credit for having attended the workshop.
  6. If a student leaves before the conclusion of the workshop, he/she will not receive credit for having attended the workshop.
  7. Each student is required to actively engage in group collaboration with his/her peers to derive feasible solutions to each of the problems assigned by the workshop leaders.
  8. No student shall display any disruptive or inappropriate behavior during the workshops.
  9. Texting, tweeting, updating of statuses, chatting, instant messaging, web browsing, or any other extracurricular action that requires the use of your smart phone/wireless device is not allowed during the workshop.
  10. The role of the workshop leader is not to give solutions to the problems, but to facilitate discussions among the workshop attendees.
