Dr. Joseph d'Auguste, CMS Artistic Director announced the 2019 Summer Camps stated, “NJCU continues to support the local music community by offering low-cost programming to Jersey City students and families. The Summer Camps are designed to introduce students to music by providing a safe, fun, and caring learning environment.”

PIANO CAMP: An innovative and fun week-long musical experience led by pianist Olga Sedycias and music faculty from NJCU, for young pianists of all abilities. JUNIOR MUSIC CAMP: For younger students interested in music, NJCU offers a one-week summer session with sing-alongs, crafts, art, music games, and engaging activities. With the goal of exploring music, the emphasis is on building friendships and creating music together. Students will present a final performance at the end of each session with a celebration and free recital open to the public. Choice of one or two weeks (July 15-19 and/or July 22-26).
