Vaccination Information for International Students

International Student Vaccination and Hybrid Course Requirements

International students have been advised to be either be fully vaccinated with a WHO approved COVID-19 vaccine or agree to be vaccinated upon arrival to the United States. Students unable to comply with this requirement were instructed to inform the Office of Global Initiatives prior to their U.S. Visa appointment so that NJCU could adjust their program to 100% online, allowing them to remain within their home country. International students may not come to the U.S. to study in an online program.

International students who enrolled at NJCU on or after March 9, 2020 must not treat hyflex/hybrid courses as online classes. The Office of Global Initiatives has worked within the federal guidelines to draft a policy that requires these students to physically attend classes no less than 51% of the time.

For more information, international students should contact Jamilah Moudiab, Senior Director for Global Initiatives, at jmoudiab@njcu.edu.
