Keeping Our Campus Safe for Teaching, Learning, Living, and Working

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, NJCU has remained focused on one primary tenet: The health and well-being of the NJCU community. We continue to place the health and safety of students, faculty and staff at the heart of every decision we make.

Our protocols and practices are the result of the work of three working groups on Health and Safety, Academic Affairs, and Student Life/External Affairs. The three committees are continually monitoring guidelines, recommendations and best practices set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), NJ Department of Health, Jersey City Department of Health, OSHA, and other experts in the field. We are continuing to update our guidelines as needed to maintain a safe campus.

We ask the University community to continue to remain flexible, patient and understanding as plans are implemented. Here you will find all the details about our policies and procedures to keep everyone safe and healthy.
