Accounting & Tax with Standards

The database allows search key accounting standards from FASB, GASB, and IASB along with top accounting literature. This database, produced by Biological Abstracts, Inc. (BIOSIS), is a general life science reference collection covering life sciences, environmental sciences and other related disciplines. BasicBIOSIS includes coverage of nearly 350 of the most popular life science publications, typically found in college and university libraries. Coverage includes meeting reports, reviews, references to newsletters, newspapers, and trade publications allowing students to also find the business applications of life science research. The range of coverage is a rolling four-year file, growing to 5 years.

CINAHL with Full Text provides indexing for 2,737 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health. The database contains more than 1,000,000 records dating back to 1982. Offering complete coverage of English-language nursing journals and publications from the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses' Association, CINAHL with Full Text covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines. In addition, this database offers access to health care books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals and book chapters. Searchable cited references for more than 1,150 journals are also included. CINAHL with Full Text provides full text for 329 journals, plus legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials. Clinical Pharmacology

The database provides concise and clinically-relevant drug monographs for all U.S. prescription drugs, hard-to-find herbal and nutritional supplements, over-the-counter products and new and investigational drugs. Education Fulltext

This is one of the H. W. Wilson full text databases. Education Full Text is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals and yearbooks published in the United States and elsewhere. English-language books relating to education published in 1995 or later are also indexed. Abstracting coverage begins with January 1994. Abstracts range from 50 to 300 words and describe the content and scope of the source documents. Full-text coverage begins in January 1996.

HeritageQuest Online

This online database offers unique material for both genealogical and historical researchers, with coverage dating back to the late 1700s. It includes all of the images, and extensive indexing, from the 1790 - 1930 U.S. federal censuses; offers more than 20,000 book titles, including nearly 8,000 family histories and over 12,000 local histories; and has more than 250 primary-source documents such as tax lists, city directories, probate records, and more. The database contains full text for nearly 140 popular, middle school magazines. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles).

The NTDB (National Trade Data Bank)

The NTDS provides access to Country Commercial Guides, Market Research reports, Best Market reports and other programs. The International Trade Library is a comprehensive collection of over 40,000 documents related to international trade. All are full text searchable, as well as key word searchable by country or product.

This database provides about 400 full text journals that are all indexed in CINAHL, including 300 peer-reviewed titles, covering the areas of nursing, biomedicine, health sciences, consumer health and allied health disciplines. This database covers less journal titles than CINAHL; however, it allows users to link to full text from citations within CINAHL.

STAT-USA Internet is a service of the U.S. Department of Commerce to provide business, trade and economic information.

State of the Nation is a section in the database which provides access to current and historical U.S. economic data, such as Consumer Price Index, GDP, NIPA, and information on housing and construction, employment, manufacture and industry reports, and monetary statistics.

GLOBUS & NTDB is a section which gives access to current and historical international market research, country analysis, and other trade-related releases.

STN Easy

Put out by Chemical Abstracts, provides online database searching for chemical literature.

This database provides current event search on social, political, economic issues, scientific discoveries and other popular topics. It contains full text from more than 2,500 diverse sources.

Student research

The Student Research Center is designed especially for youth in grades 6-12. It has a thematically arranged search interface with pictorial icons.

Unitedstreaming

Unitedstreaming is a digital video/video clip and audio library containing over 80,000 video content clips, about 8,000 full video titles, and 3,000 audio files from PBS, AIMS Multimedia, and Clearvue & SVE. It provides great digital audio and video resource for educational use at all levels. Also, for K-12, the content is particularly correlated to state standards.

Westlaw Campus

A full text legal research database that provides access to federal and
state cases, federal and state codes and regulations. A research tool
to find information on topics of law from law reviews, American Law
Reports (ALR), and the legal encyclopedia - American Jurisprudence 2d.
Remote access to the databases is available through the library's home page.

Wiley InterScience

Wiley InterScience covers journals, books, laboratory manuals published by John Wiley & Sons with selected full text to authorized users. Subjects included are: business, chemistry, computer science, earth and environmental science, education, engineering, law, life sciences, mathematics and statistics, medicine, physics and astronomy, polymers and materials science, psychology, and social sciences.

Wilson Biographies Plus

The database contains more than 95,000 biographies and obituaries and more than 26,000 photographs of the subjects. Many of the biographies are enhanced with full text, abstracts, and citations from H. W. Wilson databases. 

Full text of the articles from more than 100 volumes of biographical reference books published by H. W. Wilson, including Current Biography, the World Author Series, Nobel Prize Winners, World Artists, World Film Directors, American Reformers, and numerous biographical books on musicians and composers from throughout history.
