ABOUT THE LIBRARY
The library is named in honor of Congressman
Frank J. Guarini. The library's collections and services have
been developed to support classroom teaching and to enable students
to meet course requirements successfully. In addition, helping
students develop information literacy (the skill in locating, evaluating
and using information necessary to engage in life-long learning), is
a goal of the library.
MISSION
The mission of the Congressman Frank J. Guarini
Library is to provide services and materials to the students, faculty,
staff and community in support of the curriculum and other educational
objectives of New Jersey City University, incuding the learning outcome for information literacy .
