  • The Department of Information Technology (IT), a department within the Division of Administration and Finance, oversees the operation and management of information technology resources at New Jersey City University. IT's mission is to provide high-quality computing technology and to empower members of the University community by providing an excellent and broad spectrum of customer-focused support services. The Department of IT works collaboratively with members of the University community to facilitate their use of computing, voice and data technologies. In addition, the department is committed to providing a robust and highly secure communications infrastructure in support of the University Mission. IT staff strive to facilitate the ethical use of information technology and to create an environment that nourishes individual development in the use of technology to re-enforce academic and personal growth.

    The University recently transitioned to a new telephone provider for local and long distance calling resulting in significant savings in telephone costs.

  • Wi-Fi Everywhere

    The campus wireless network has been upgraded to 802.4 tecnology and expanded to significantly improve coverage throughout the entire campus.
