     2014 Summer  II Session
    July 7, 2014 - August 7, 2014 

    March 17

    March 17 

    Advisement begins. Students are encouraged to schedule an advisement appointment with advisor.  

    March 25 

    Early Registration begins. Visiting Students can register from April 8 to May 28.  

    April 18, 19  

    Good Friday and Saturday: University closed. 

    April 28 to May 28 

    Summer I Registration, Add/Drop and advisement continues. See page 8 for evening hours after May 12. May 14, 27, 28 open until 7:00 p.m.  

    May 19 to June 12 

    Period for NJCU seniors completing requirements during the 2014 Summer Sessions to file for graduation; see page 9 for specific directions.  

    May 26 

    Memorial Day: University closed. 

    May 27 

    Summer II, bills available online in GothicNet. Bills no longer mailed. 

    June 25 

    Summer II, final day to pay tuition and fees at Bursar’s Office, H-106, 7:00 p.m.  All prior indebtedness must also be paid. $75.00 Late Fee begins June 30.  

    July 4 

    Independence Day: University closed.  

    July 7 

    Summer II Session classes begin.  

    July 7, 8 

    Final days to Add/Drop for 100% refund of tuition and fees and correction of class schedules, Registrar’s Office, H-214, until 7:00.p.m.  

    July 9 to July 17  

    Period to submit Pass/Fail Forms at Registrar’s Office, H-214, for Summer II 5 and 7 week session.  

    July 10 

    Summer II, class schedules cancelled for students who did not report to pay or clear the bill at the Bursar’s Office, H-106. See page 7.  

    July 17 

    Final day to withdraw from a course(s) for a 50% refund of tuition and fees with  a “W” grade(s), Registrar’s Office, H-214. See page 8.  

    July 24  

    Final day to withdraw from a course(s) with a “W” grade(s), Registrar’s Office, H-214. See page 8.  

    August 7 

    End of Summer II Session.  

      
    Students in 7 week courses read Section VI, page 8 for refunds and “W” Grades.   
    7 week courses: July 7 – August 21.
