    Early Advisement/Registration begins for Juniors and Sophomores.

    Advisement/Registration continues. Open to all.  

    November 1  

    Online Graduation Clearance application available for students completing degree requirements during Spring 2016.  

    November 9  

    2016 Winter/Spring Semester E-billing begins. Bills are no longer mailed. Bills are available on GothicNet.  

    November 26 to 28  

    Thanksgiving Recess: No Classes.  

    December 1  

    $75.00 late registration fee begins for continuing students.  

    December 10  

    Winter/Spring 2016 bill due. Deadline to pay/clear tuition charges at Bursar’s Office.  

    December 14  

    $75.00 late payment fee begins—Winter/Spring 2016.  

    December 15  

    Deadline to file Graduation Clearance form for Seniors completing Bachelor degree requirements during the 2016 Spring semester.  

    December 26 to January 1  

    Winter recess: University Closed.  

    January 4 to 15  

    Winter Intersession – In person course.  

    January 4 to February 19  

    Winter Intersession – Online course.  

    January 18  

    Martin Luther King Day: University Closed.  

    January 19  

    2016 Spring Semester Classes begin.  

    January 19  

    2016 Spring payment deadline for students who enrolled on December 1 or later.  

    January 19 to 25  

    Add/Drop class(es) for the 2016 Spring term. See page 8 for detailed directions and time.  

    January 21  

    Deadline to apply for Field Experience II and Senior Internship for Fall 2016.  

    January 25  

    Deadline to drop class(es) at 100% refund.  

    January 26 to April 1  

    Period to submit Pass/Fail forms at Registrar’s Office, H-214. Forms available online and outside the office.  

    February 1 to April 15  

    Financial Aid form for 2016 Fall semester available. Recommended filing period is February 1 to April 15.  

    February 15  

    President’s Day: University Closed.  

    February 20  

    Deadline to declare a major for all degree students with 35 or more earned credits and with at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.  

    February 22  

    Final day to withdraw from course(s) for a 50% refund of tuition with a “W” grade. Withdrawal Form must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office.  

    March 1  

    Deadline: Incomplete grades for 2015 Fall semester and 2016 Winter Session become “F” grades.  

    March 7 to 12  

    Spring recess: Classes resume March 14.  

    March 14

    Deadline for Faculty to submit Spring 2016 Midterm grades.

    Recommended filing date for Financial Aid applicants for the 2016 Fall semester.  

    May 3 to 9  

    Final exam week for the 2016 Spring semester.  

    May 9  

    End of 2016 Spring semester.  

    May 11  

    Commencement.  

    May 16  

    Deadline for faculty to submit final grades.  

    May 15 to June 15  

    Online Graduation Clearance Application for Seniors completing Bachelor degree requirements during the 2016 Summer Term. Read page 21, Graduation and Certification deadline dates. Students completing degree requirements during Summer 2015 will be invited to participate in May 2016 Commencement.
