OMVS is celebrating our Military & Veteran Students!
During the month of November, NJCU’s green tower takes on a new meaning as we celebrate our nation’s heroes. Join us on campus or at home by changing one light in a visible location to green as a symbol of support and gratitude for all Veterans.
Veterans Week Events
Monday, November 6, 2023
Please join us in front of the flagpole, as we kick off our celebration leading up to Veterans Day by raising the flag in honor of our nation’s heroes. In addition, stop in the Gilligan Student Union Building and visit our tables showcasing the Jersey City Vet Center, The US Army, and the US Navy.

- JC Vet Center, Army & Navy Tabling on campus, GSUB 1st floor (10:00am - 3:00pm)
Wednesday, November 8, 2023
Join us for a discussion about our NJCU Veterans and learn how you can help welcome them on our campus (as a friend, in the classroom. etc.). Then visit our table during the 1st Generation Student Celebration.

- RED Friday: Remember Everyone Deployed; wear red to show your support, and consider donating to NJCU’s veteran fund, so we can prepare care packages to send to NJ National Guard who will be deploying this upcoming year.
