A health awareness event, in remembrance of the life, spirit and commitment of New Jersey City University student Rhonda Berry, who dedicated her life educating and advocating for poor and uninsured women battling cancer.

This year's topic: Finding Joy in the Journey: Healing Your Way to Happiness

This year's featured speaker is Treva Spencer, NJCU Alum, and a Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience in the field with a focus on employee relations, community relations, talent acquisition and diversity & inclusion. Treva is currently serving as the Director of Talent and Culture for Landmark Hospitality, headquartered in Jersey City.

This is an event by the Yemaya group of NJCU. Yemaya is an initiative under the auspices of Black Alumni, Administrators, Faculty, Students and Staff Organization (BAAFSSO). Our goal is to provide support to the mental, physical, financial, social, spiritual, educational, and cultural needs of today’s collegiate women of African heritage at our institution.
