ASEFA Music@One Concert Series

Coordinated by Dr. Ana Maria Rosado. ASEFA features intercultural jams from the Judeo-Islamic musics of North Africa and the Levant, in Arabic, Hebrew, and Ladino (Judeo-Espagnole). Led by ethnomusicologist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Samuel Torjman Thomas, PhD, this ensemble traverses a wide sonic landscape of Mediterranean styles and cultures on vocals, oud, qanun, violin, darbuka, and more.
