El Centro is honored to host Dr. Patricia Campos Medina for a book talk to discuss her book “Legalized Inequalities: Immigration & Race in the Low Wage Workplace” in conversation with Dr. Franca Roibal Fernández.
Dr. Campos Medina is a lifelong organizer, the executive director of the Worker Institute at the ILR (Industrial and Labor Relations) School at Cornell, first woman and Latina to officially run for US Senate in the Democratic primary in NJ’s history, and serves as the president of Latina Civic Action. She is a champion for the labor movement and a longtime supporter of NJCU.
