Trumpet Masterclass with Christopher Sala
Christopher Sala currently serves as principal trumpet (solo cornet) and concertmaster of the United States Navy Band in Washington, D.C., where he is a frequent soloist. In his Navy Band career he has performed for the last three Presidents and often plays for several Foreign Dignitaries and Government Officials each year. He is also the principal trumpet of the Annapolis Symphony and performs with the Baltimore Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Maryland Symphony, Baltimore Choral Arts and Bayfield Brass. He's earned numerous awards including first place in the International Trumpet Guild Solo Competition, the ITG Mock Orchestra Competition, and was the second place winner of the National Trumpet Competition and many more. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music in Music Education and Trumpet Performance and a Master of Music degree from The Florida State University in Trumpet Performance.
