Clothes Upcycling With ASEZ!

All NJCU students are invited to the event "Clothes Upcycling with ASEZ (Save the Earth from A to Z)!"

At this event, students will gain awareness about the cost of the clothing industry in water by watching a short presentation about the importance of the national observance made by the United Nations, World Water Day. Then, students will be able to participate in arts and crafts at one of three stations in order to upcycle unwanted or old clothing!

There will be craft stations including a no-sew pillow-making station and a reusable bag-making station! Students should bring clothing they would like to re-style, and ASEZ Club members will walk them through them easy tutorials to upcycle their clothes. Students should bring clothing such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants, denim jeans and jackets, long-sleeved shirts, etc. All materials such as scissors and pillow stuffing will be provided by ASEZ. Refreshments will be served!
