7th Annual Northeast Regional Security Education Symposium

CYBER THREAT INTELLIGENCE IN GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE SECTORS

The Professional Security Studies Department at New Jersey City University (NJCU) will hold its 7th Northeast Regional Security Education Symposium from 8 am to 2 pm on Friday, March 22, 2019 in the NJCU School of Business Skyline Room in downtown Jersey City. The theme of this year’s Symposium is Cyber Threat Intelligence in Government and Private Sectors. 

The annual Symposium brings together leading experts, faculty members, alumni and students in a discussion of urgent security issues. It also features a poster session of research being pursued by candidates for NJCU’s D.Sc. degree in Civil Security Leadership, Management and Policy and significant networking opportunities.

Event speakers include Jon “Wally” Prather, Senior Intelligence Analyst, Threat Research McAfee /Advanced Programs Group; Kevin M. Conklin, Special Agent, Newark Division, Cyber Crimes Task Force, Federal Bureau of Investigation; and Dr. Greg Dzsinich, LLM, CIPP/E, ICT attorney and executive strategist (Budapest); board member of CyAN (Paris) and associated partner representative to EUROPOL (The Hague). An NJCU alumni panel will also discuss career development. 

A continental breakfast and lunch is provided. Tickets at the door are limited. Registration in advance is requested. Doors open on March 22 at 8 am, with the Symposium program beginning promptly at 9 am.
