FAFSA Completion & Alternative Application Event

The Financial Aid Office is launching a FAFSA Completion Workshop event for the 2024-2025 academic year. As you might be aware from the news and other social media sources the federal government has rolled out a new version of the FAFSA. The NJCU community knows how crucial it is for our students to get their financial aid from both federal and state sources and we would like to assist you and your parents with this process.
Please be aware that while we would like you to RSVP, we will be accepting walk-ins. As a continuing student it is important that you complete your FAFSA as soon as possible. The deadline to secure both federal and state aid is May 15. You want to make sure that any issues are resolved before that deadline so that your financial aid is not interrupted for the 2024-2025 academic year.
To participate, email financialaid@njcu.edu with the subject line "FAFSA Completion Event." In the email body, specify your preferred workshop date and time, and indicate whether your parent/guardian will attend.
