The NJCU Psychology Society and the Chapter of Psi Chi cordially invite you to the PSYCH Star Speaker Series
Let’s Zoom TeleNeuropsychology with Guest Speaker: Patricia Maria Pehme, Ph.D. candidate
The necessary safety measures resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic brought about greater telehealth use. Many neuropsychologists put services on pause, while many others accommodated teleassessment. Teletherapy has become ubiquitous; however, many individuals do not have adequate devices or technological skills to receive psychotherapy in this form. I will share my experiences with students, and hope to discuss advantages and disadvantages of telehealth.
Patricia Maria Pehme is a fifth-year doctoral candidate at the Clinical Psychology PhD Program at Queens College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY). Clinically, under supervision. she conducts comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of children (and adults) with a wide range of neurological and medical conditions, including epilepsy, brain injury, and stroke, as well as neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders, including autism and anxiety.
