Dr. Nadira Jack is an adjunct professor at New Jersey City University and the Chief Academic Officer of Jersey City Global Charter School which she co-founded and developed in 2013. She is also founder of the non-profit organization, The Institute of Intellectual Innovation (i3) and author of the book, The Pedagogy of Consciousness.

Dr. Jack is a former elementary and middle school teacher specializing in the area of literacy and social justice in New Jersey. She is an advocate of equity and academic excellence in schools as much of her research focuses on equalizing educational opportunities for members of the urban youth. She is known for her innovative approach to leadership and instruction, connecting experiences with real life initiatives that deeply impact society. She has extensive experience leading successful programs of change, mentoring educators, developing leaders and conducting engaging seminars.

Dr. Jack has dual Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science & Criminal Justice from Saint Peter's University, two Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership — both from New Jersey City University — and a Doctoral Degree in K-12 leadership from Saint Peter's.
