Summary

Syed Haider is a Program Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor for the Department of National Security Studies and has also taught with the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures regarding contemporary and historical Islam, foreign affairs, and public policy. Syed holds a master's in public administration from Kean University as well as a master’s degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David with a concentration on pre-modern Islamic History, Politics, and Global Affairs. His research interests include Islamic Political Culture, History, and Global Affairs in the Middle East & South Asia. He is currently pursuing a third master's degree in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom).
