Children's Learning Center Staff
ANA APONTE, DIRECTOR
Ana is the center's director. She has been with the center since 2005. A graduate of NJCU, Ana obtained a BA in Psychology and is also a certified teacher. She also obtained her MA in Educational Psychology and is a certified school psychologist. Ana is currently working on an Educational Doctorate in Education Leadership from Rowan University.
JENNIFER ARROYO, PRE-K TEACHER/ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Jennifer is the center's Assistant Director and Pre-K teacher. She has been with the center since 2005 and became a main teacher in September 2008. She has her BA in Early Childhood Education and is a certified teacher. Jennifer recently obtained her MA in Counseling with School Counselor Certification.
TRICIA KOUFODONTIS, PRESCHOOL TEACHER
Tricia has been the Preschool teacher at the Children's Learning Center since 2010. She is a graduate of William Paterson University and earned her BA in Sociology and Early Childhood Education. She has her P-3 certification and has a variety of early childhood teaching experiences.
STEPHANY CASTELLANOS, PRE-K TEACHER S
Stephany is currently the Pre-K teacher. She is a graduate of Felician College, she has her P-3 certification and earned her BA in Early Childhood Education.
GRETCHEN CLAYTON, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Gretchen runs the Family Resource Center for the center. In addition, she handles the office duties of the center in the director's absence. She has been with the center since 2003 and prior to that worked as an assistant teacher for 3 years. Gretchen currently has an AA in Early Childhood Education and is taking classes at NJCU as she works toward her BA in Sociology.
Silvia Serrano
Preschool Teacher
Silvia is currently the Preschool teacher. She has been with the center since 2016. She has her BA in History and Secondary Education. She is currently working on her MA in Mental Health Counseling.
