West New York, N.J. Town Historian Patrick R. Cullen, Jr. M.A. (B.A. History; 1990), who operates the West New York Museum on the 2nd floor of the West New York Public Library has recently written his first book: 1780 Battle of the Block House of North Bergen, New Jersey. The book reveals the exact location of this Revolutionary War battle, adds to the previously published names of the Loyalists involved, and includes an exhaustive listing (via 1780 Muster Rolls and other sources) of over 1,000 names of soldiers under the Command of Brigadier General Anthony Wayne, who fought on the side of the Americans.
