NJCU Student Abigail Maldonado Receives Certificate from Harvard Business School Online for Successfully completing the NJCU Graduate Business Essentials course.

NJCU student Abigail Maldonado eared her certificate from Harvard Business School Online for successfully completing the NJCU Graduate Business Essentials course.  This is just one of the unique offering for students of the NJCU School of Business that creates a point of distinction from other business programs.

As Maldonado notes, "I knew right away that taking the HBX course would be a turning point in my career.  I had been out of school for 15 years and was nervous about taking this step towards an MBA.  However, I was put at ease once I found the MBA program at NJCU offered the Harvard Credential of Readiness (CORe) as a prerequisite to the program.  After speaking with Dr. John Donnellan, associate professor and chair of Management at the School, I was sure NJCU was the place for me.  The course is fast paced, well organized, and includes the essentials necessary to achieve an MBA.  Each module within the course provides an understanding along with fundamental practice of theories, concepts, and formulas that drive the field.  I especially enjoyed the once a week in class component, as it provided a traditional learning environment which I found to be a crucial piece to my success.  I know that Harvard offers this online for anyone to take. However, the professors at NJCU made all the difference in my success."
