Dear Members of the NJCU Community,

Due to the impact the remnants of Hurricane Ida has left on Jersey City and its surrounding communities, please note the status of academic and business operations planned for Thursday, September 2:

• The University will operate with a delayed opening. All classes will be delayed until 1 p.m.
• The campus will open at 1 p.m. for all employees. Employees should work remotely prior to 1 p.m.
• This announcement does not apply to weather-essential personnel, who should report as usual.
• The 1 p.m. delayed opening will include the School of Business and Fort Monmouth locations.
