Dear Members of the NJCU Community,

The National Weather Service is forecasting a Nor’easter to impact our area overnight and into the day on Tuesday with as much as 4 to 6 inches of rain in some parts of New Jersey, and in preparation, Governor Murphy has declared a State of Emergency effective at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.

Due to the impending storm, please note the status of academic and business operations planned for Tuesday, October 26.

  • The University will be open, but switching to fully remote learning and work for its main campus, School of Business and Fort Monmouth locations. Nonessential personnel should not report to campus.
  • This announcement does not apply to weather-essential personnel, who should report as usual.
  • Shuttle Services: The shuttle will continue operating for residential students.
