NJCU at Fort Monmouth to Host Blood Drive on September 12

OCEANPORT, N.J. | New Jersey City University (NJCU) will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, September 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at its NJCU @ Fort Monmouth location — Squier Hall, 283 Sherrill Avenue in Oceanport, N.J.

The community service initiative is in partnership with New Jersey Blood Services and the New York Blood Center, to help children fighting serious illnesses, because donations save lives. September has been Childhood Cancer Awareness Month since 2012.

Appointments are recommended, but not required. To make an appointment to donate blood, please visit https://donate.nybc.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/313576 or call 800-933-2566.

Donors are reminded to eat at regular mealtimes and bring their ID or NYBC donor card.
