Weather Alert | February 24, 2026

Dear Members of the NJCU Community,

Due to the continuing statewide effects of the major winter storm and unsafe travel conditions, NJCU will remain fully remote for all learning and work on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 for its main campus and School of Business locations. For your safety, nonessential personnel should not report to campus.

This announcement does not apply to weather-essential personnel who should report to work as usual. If you are unsure whether you are considered essential personnel, please check with your manager. For any questions, contact HR@njcu.edu.

Dining services will operate from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shuttle services are expected to run but may be disrupted or unavailable depending on road conditions and ongoing cleanup efforts.

Faculty with in-person classes scheduled for Tuesday, February 24 are expected to communicate with their students regarding plans for remote learning.
