JERSEY CITY, N.J. | New Jersey City University (NJCU) Gallerieswill present "Intertwined: 2026 NJCU BFA Thesis Exhibition," a two-part showcase of work by the university's graduating Bachelor of Fine Arts students, opening Saturday, April 18, 2026. The exhibition will run through Monday, May 11 at the university’s Visual Arts Building Gallery, located on the lower level of the Visual Arts Building at 100 Culver Avenue on campus.

The Visual Arts Gallery will host this highly anticipated annual exhibition, featuring work by 23 emerging artists across two groups. Titled "Intertwined," the show brings a spotlight to connection and care — both for ourselves and for others — through a wide array of projects in ceramics, graphic design, illustration, painting, and photography.

The exhibition highlights the diverse voices of students as they explore their craft, skills, growth, history, and home. Together, these individual branches of craft intertwine to create a shared, heartfelt vision of what it means to be human — connecting students, communities, and ideas into something collectively meaningful.

Group A will be on view from April 18–28, with an opening reception on Saturday, April 18 from 3–6 p.m. Group B will be on view from May 2–11, with an opening reception on Saturday, May 2 from 3–6 p.m.

Artist Talks will accompany each exhibition. Group A's Artist Talk, featuring guest reviewer Tris McCall, will be held Thursday, April 23 from 5:30-7 p.m. Group B's Artist Talk, featuring guest reviewer Melissa MacAlpin, will take place Monday, May 11 from 5:30-7 p.m.
