In an effort to honor members of the university community who have passed away — including students, alumni, and active or retired faculty or staff — the Office of Marketing and Communications has introduced an In Memoriam section of our website for loved ones and friends to leave memories and tributes on NJCU.edu. In accordance with NJCU's new In Memoriam policy, this page is dedicated to honoring those graduates of New Jersey City University, Jersey City State College, New Jersey State Teachers College, and New Jersey State Normal School at Jersey City. When possible, we will link to obituaries, news articles or other sources to honor the deceased. If information is available, we will also list former students who did not complete their degrees.

If you would like to leave remembrances or tributes to the deceased, please complete our In Memoriam form.
