The NJCU-NPower Cybersecurity Transfer Agreement

Introducing NJCU and NPower

New Jersey City University (NJCU) and NPower, a national tech training nonprofit, have signed an agreement granting qualified NPower graduates the ability to transfer nine (9) credits towards a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at NJCU.

The Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and professional training to succeed in one of the world’s fastest growing careers. Through our professional courses, state-of-the-art Cyber Security lab, leading faculty, and exciting cybersecurity club, the program successfully balances the theoretical, professional, and technical skills of cybersecurity.

NJCU’s Department of Professional Security Studies (PSS) is one of the few departments in the nation to have federal designations in both cybersecurity and intelligence. We’ve been named a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and an Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence (IC CAE) by a grant from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
