The Guarini Institute of International Education and Economic Mobility was honored to host a conversation with John C. Williams, the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Friday, February 18th, 2022. Following the welcome remarks from Dr. Sue Henderson, President of New Jersey City University, President Williams spoke about the economic outlook for the region and country and shared his views on monetary policy. He also took questions from NJCU faculty and student during a moderated discussion with Dr. Bernard McSherry, the Founding Dean of NJCU School of Business. This conversation was the last event of President Williams’ virtual visit to northern New Jersey during which he met with the governor and local leaders of businesses, nonprofits, and community groups to hear firsthand from local voices about the state of the pandemic recovery in the region.
