FY2026 Tuition and Fees Hearing

Recommendation:

That for FY2026, the Board of Trustees adopts and authorizes the Administration to implement and administer a budget based upon State appropriations and such other sources of funding which the University may receive. The tuition and fees recommendation for consideration by the Board of Trustees will be an amount not to exceed a 7% increase in tuition and will be conditioned upon state appropriations for FY2026. Proposed new program and course fees may also be presented.

Individuals that wish to present testimony on the proposed tuition and fee increases for FY2026 will have an opportunity to do so during the meeting. In accordance with established University policy, individuals must submit a request to speak form accessible at https://www.njcu.edu/about/administration-governance/board-trustees/speaker-request-form. The public hearing is held in compliance with the requirements of the New Jersey Higher Education Restructuring Act of 1994. The Board of Trustees will act on the FY2026 tuition and fees proposals at its Annual Budget Adoption public meeting on July 10, 2025.
