Symphony of Winds and Percussion: Visions

Symphony of Winds and Percussion ensemble in rehearsal

VISIONS will feature works by composers whose compositional voices or inspiration was of particular significance either musically or historically. The program will include music by Ulysses Kay, Nancy Galbraith, Vincent Persichetti, Roger Zare, and much more. Performances by James Reese Europe, Gustav Holst, Patrick J. Burns, Yukiko Nishimura, and Yasuhide Ito. Special guest will be heather Hanzlik, granddaughter of the great Clifton Williams, whose TRILOGY we will be performing that night.

The world premiere performance of Joshua A. Idio’s new work, DREAMS OF AN ARCHITECT, will also be presented.
