Group Study and Quiet Rooms

Group Study Rooms

There are four (4) designated group study rooms on the 3rd Floor of the Library for use by current NJCU students only. Rooms are available on a first come first served basis only and cannot be reserved ahead of time.

The keys are available at the Periodicals and U.S. Government Documents Department Desk on the 2nd Floor of the Library. A minimum of two students constitute a group and both must present valid Gothic Student ID cards in order to use the room for up to two hours. Rooms may be renewed for an additional two hour block if there are no other groups waiting.

Users must not damage any computer, equipment or furniture in any group study room.  No food or drink permitted.

Quiet Study Room

Room 217 is a designated quiet study room on the 2nd Floor of the Library for current NJCU students only.  The room is a place for silent study and concentration and can accommodate more than one student at a time. Discussions, phone conversations, or any activity that would generate noise to disturb other users should not be conducted in the quiet study room.

Users must not damage any equipment or furniture in the quiet study room.  No food or drink permitted.
