Welcome Back to the Spring 2023 Semester
Dear Members of the NJCU Community,
Welcome back for the Spring 2023 semester at New Jersey City University. We hope you have had a relaxing break spent with family and friends, and have had a chance to recharge as we begin the second semester of the academic year.
At NJCU, your safety is our paramount concern. Now, as we come together for a new semester, please watch this video at the top of this message to review the important safety advice specific to our campus. Please also ensure your emergency contact information is up to date.
While the fall semester was difficult in many ways for the university collectively, we are making steady progress towards a better future for NJCU, and the work of our students, faculty, and staff is vital to that path forward.
For some of our students, this will be your final semester at NJCU, with graduation near. To those who will see their years of hard work fulfilled with the promise of a degree and the education to go with it, we look forward to celebrating your accomplishments at our 2023 Commencement ceremonies on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
To all of our students, who will soon complete their academic journeys, and others who are just beginning it, we wish you a successful Spring 2023 semester.
